How to Export Prezi to Video

This is a question that frequently comes up in the Prezi Community. You’ve built a beautiful Prezi presentation and now the next logical step is to export it to video so you can publish on your website, YouTube, and other video hosting websites.

So, how do you export a Prezi to Video?

Unfortunately, Prezi does not support exporting a Prezi to Video directly. Fortunately, there are ways to convert your Prezi into a high-quality, professional video that you can be proud of.

How to convert your Prezi to Video

There are really two ways to convert your Prezi to Video…

1.) Use screen recording software like Camtasia

Camtasia is a great piece of software for recording your screen. If you have purchased a license for Camtasia and you have a computer with exceptional processing power, you should be able to record and edit your own video using Camtasia.

Keep in mind that it there is a pretty steep learning curve with Camtasia. Also, you need to make sure you have a computer with exceptional processing that can handle both running your Prezi and recording your screen with Camtasia at the same time. If your computer can’t keep up, your end result will be a choppy, poor quality video.

2.) Use a service like

Back in 2012 I was doing the same research you are doing now. After about a week of experimenting with plenty of trial-and-error, I finally perfected the process of converting a Prezi to Video.

I began posting in forums and in the Prezi Community helping others trying to accomplish the same thing. The typical response I would get was “I’m frustrated. Can you just do it for me?” and that is how was born!

Since 2012, we’ve converted hundreds of Prezi’s to video for top brands like Coca-Cola to mom-and-pop shops. There’s no project too big and no customer too small.

We look forward to serving you,
